1. Provide an example of a situation where you have to have trust – in the same vein as the author in his swimming lesson example. What made you trust in this situation and how did you feel?

Rollercoaster – The technology and the testing that goes into constructing it.

2. Where in our exhibition do we need to instill trust? Give examples. How are we going to achieve this?

Providing quality. Make the exhibition professional.

3. What strategies are used to instill trust? Examples? Where do we need to employ this in uphere? How are we going to do this?

The quality of all the work that students are exhibiting must be of the highest standard.

The quality of the show must be of the highest standard. Eg providing food and drink and some entertainment. Which is always expected at the exhibition opening.

4. If you could “undo” any aspect of the preparation for the exhibition to-date, what would you “undo”? With this in mind, what would would you change now in your preparation strategy to overcome having to “undo” anything?

Make the decision on the logo a lot quicker. Because it did hold up other groups like the print design group.

5. Homework: How are you using the laws in relation to your contribution to The uphere exhibition? Provide a short explanation and example for each of the laws so far. Use your work towards and your examples.

REDUCE: Help reduce the stress out of running an exhibition by helping out where ever needed and also applying a time line so that we can focus on completing small goals first and not worrying about the big picture.

ORGANISE: Organise my time around my other commitments so that i could still put as much time as needed into making sure that every thing that i was in charge of was completed by the set deadlines.

TIME: Have a time line in place. Focus on the things that need that most attention giving them the most time to get completed, and then on the smaller things that need less time. Set deadlines that can be worked to.

LEARN: Learn from the experience. Also pass on any knowledge that i might have to help others complete their tasks.

DIFFERENCES: For an action the must be a reaction to take place. For complexity to exist there must be simplicity to know the difference between the two. Every one has differences it is every ones job to accommodate each other and work things out to complete a common goal.

CONTEXT: Do not just focus on the small but also take a step back and view the big picture and how it will fit in.

EMOTION: With emotion come more complexity. Try not to get to emotional understand that some one else my have some good ideas that can help you.

TRUST: Respect every one like you would like to have respect from them. Trust that every one is in the same boat as you but that they may have a bit more experience and have some good ideas to help you.
